Over the past 13 years, that ambition has been fully accomplished, and the exhibitions in Milan in particular have played a key role in promoting Danish craft and design. Since 2008, The Mindcraft Project has presented high-profile, internationally acclaimed exhibitions during the Milan Design Week.

Traditional exhibitions, as we know them from early presentations of design and cultural history, had a simple form and were often based on presenting items from a collection arranged in glass display cases. The exhibitions at the Museum of Copenhagen involved a different kind of fieldwork process.
Along with journals and magazines, recurring exhibitions form the backbone of what we might call the ‘Design Institution’ – Museums and educational institutions may be the traditional cornerstones of the Design Institution, but many other, more or less regular events and exhibitions are also part of it.

With the Visiona exhibitions, Panton was given the opportunity to – according to his own statement – realise the most exciting commissions for the German company Bayer. Panton’s dream of living with all the senses engaged and his ideas for visionary settings full of colour and light were often realised in exhibitions.
Architectural Connections City of Jewellery spanned over three days with more than 30 different exhibitions from September 28th to 30th, 2023, organized by the Goldsmiths' Guild of Copenhagen. A digital program guides visitors to exhibitions and events where they can experience the jewellery.
